Maya joined Ibis as an Executive and Administration Coordinator in July 2023. In this role, she supports the senior management team, assists with biannual board meetings, and supports the Oakland office. Prior to joining Ibis, Maya worked at Education First where she helped coordinate global exchange opportunities. She has also served as a Policy Research Intern at the Movement Advancement Project and as an Organizing Fellow with the Minnesota Youth Collective. Maya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and the Study of Women and Gender from Smith College.
