Rooted on the continent since 2003, we work as a trusted research partner with communities who face the greatest barriers to sexual and reproductive health care and to address stigmatized and contested topics, including abortion and contraceptive access.

Our ‘glocal’ approach—locally grounded, regionally connected, and globally influential in advancing sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice (SRHRJ) programs and policy—enables us to meet our key objectives of generating research evidence that informs policy and improves reproductive health outcomes for all in Africa.

Leveraging on our convening power, our partnerships span the Eastern, Western, and Southern Africa, with Central and Northern Africa on the horizon. Our key partners include local, provincial, and national governments, civil society organisations, researchers, youth, policy makers and change makers.

Through our intentional, principled partnerships, we co-create evidence-based solutions to shift power and drive change, even in challenging and uncertain political, environmental, and socioeconomic contexts.
