Ibis to co-sponsor reproductive health, rights and justice panel and Boston launch of All* Above All during APHA Annual Meeting

November 5, 2013 – Along with 16 other local and national sexual and reproductive health organizations, Ibis will celebrate the recent wins in reproductive health, rights and justice as well as the official Boston launch of All* Above All, a new national campaign seeking to build support for restoring Medicaid coverage of abortion and ensuring access for low-income women, women of color, and young women.

Speakers from sexual and reproductive health research and advocacy organizations includingAll* Above AllAdvancing New Standards in Reproductive Health(ANSIRH), Ibis Reproductive Health, the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health,National Women's Health Network, and the Repeal Hyde Art Project shared news and lessons from recent campaigns at the city, state and national levels, including a California bill allowing advanced practice clinicians (APCs) that have the requisite skills and expertise to provide safe first trimester abortion care and contraception coverage in the Affordable Care Act.
