Mayzin Kung

she/her
Research Coordinator
United States

Mayzin is an aspiring research clinician and current Research Coordinator on The MORE Study at Ibis Reproductive Health, having previously consulted with Ibis on the TEAM Study.

Her path has taken her through both clinical care and clinical research, including coordinating a multi-site study on STI and antimicrobial resistance surveillance in Fiji, supporting cardiovascular and metabolic disease research in Oakland, and caring for patients directly across a range of clinical settings. Fiji taught her that local and global work can move together to give people the power to make their own choices.

That conviction draws her to global work advancing sexual and reproductive autonomy, choice, and health. She believes good research depends on trust as much as methodology, and she brings that same care to her work today.

Mayzin holds a B.A. in Integrative Human Biology from UC Berkeley with a minor in Disability studies.
