Caila manages qualitative and quantitative projects in the United States and internationally. She currently supports research projects focused on the use of telemedicine and self-managed abortion in India and the US. Prior to joining Ibis, Caila contributed to monitoring and evaluation of health and development technology projects at Results for Development. Most of her prior work focused on women’s sexual and reproductive health. As a Global Health Corp Fellow in Population Council’s Zambia office, Caila supported qualitative and quantitative research projects on topics including self-managed abortion, adolescent HIV, and key populations . She has also supported women’s health programs at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the National Women’s Health Network. Caila holds a Master of Science in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis.
