Caitlin (she/her) works as a Research Coordinator on qualitative and quantitative projects focused on abortion in the United States and India. This portfolio features a mixed methods study conducted pre- and post-Dobbs to understand the experiences of Hoosiers seeking abortion care, as well as providers and clinic staff in Indiana; research on self-managed abortion in India, measuring people’s abortion journeys, complications, and outcomes; and a hotline in India. Prior to this role, Caitlin supported Ibis to launch the Mama Sophia app with the Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health (TICAH) and Generation Initiative for Women and Youth Network (GIWYN) of the Mobilizing Activists around Medical Abortion (MAMA) Network. Before joining Ibis, she worked at PAI on strategic advocacy communications for sexual and reproductive health and rights. Caitlin graduated from the University of Virginia with a Political Science degree and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member in D.C.
