Dana is a Senior Associate Research Scientist at Ibis, where her research focuses on telehealth service delivery models, self-managed medication abortion, and adolescent sexual and reproductive healthcare. Prior to her career as a researcher, she was a grassroots organizer for a reproductive rights organization in the upper Midwest. She holds a BA in Sociology and Social Justice from The University of Minnesota, a Master’s in Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin, and a PhD in Public Policy and Demography from The University of Texas at Austin. She is honored to co-Chair the Board of Directors for Jane's Due Process, an abortion fund in Texas that supports pregnant and parenting minors.
