Victoria Nichols, MPH
Victoria Nichols (she/her) joined Ibis in 2021 as the Project Director of Free the Pill, a campaign to educate and engage the public in support of an over-the-counter (OTC) birth control option in the United States. In this role, she works closely with team members and partners to develop and integrate communications, field, policy, advocacy, research, and regulatory strategies into the overall campaign.
Throughout her career, Victoria has worked to support mission-driven nonprofit and philanthropic organizations to improve policies, practices, and systems that fall short of addressing the needs of diverse populations. Prior to joining Ibis, Victoria supported collaborative efforts to advance health equity for children and families, democratize access to information on reproductive health technology, and promote innovative primary prevention models. She has had the privilege of presenting at national conferences and events including the Reproductive Ethics Conference, APHA, ESSENCE Festival, and Youth Tech Health Live. She has also published pieces in Rewire, Ms. Magazine, and on several non-profit websites.
In addition to her professional work, Victoria earned a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Government from Claremont McKenna College.
